Direct Lending Associate

Associates play a vital role in the evaluation and execution of investments. Associates generally work in two-to-three person teams and assist in the identification, assessment, recommendation, execution and monitoring of investments. Associates are both encouraged and expected, shortly after joining the firm, to take on a leadership role in conducting due diligence and in analyzing and ultimately recommending investment opportunities.

General Qualifications

2+ years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance or restructuring required
Excellent analytical, financial and problem-solving skills
Keen financial acumen and entrepreneurial skills
Able to synthesize a broad set of information into a cogent investment thesis
Strong work ethic, commitment, excellent judgment, and works well on a team
Independent self-starter
Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
