Reporting Analyst

The Reporting Analyst designs and develops reports to communicate performance across funds and to help inform business decisions.

 

A Reporting Analyst’s responsibilities may generally include:

  • Designing and developing reporting for the funds
  • Working directly with the CFO, COO, PM and members of various front-office investment committees on special projects
  • Providing analytical support to senior management to support key business decisions with a focus on macro market data
  • Creating/maintenaning data used in marketing materials (i.e. track record, performance updates, etc.)
  • Generating reports for ad hoc investor inquiries

General Qualifications

  • 4-6 years’ experience at a hedge fund or other financial institution, in a role requiring familiarity with risk and return concepts such as alpha/IRR/ROA/ROE/Multiple of Money/Beta/Vol, etc. Bonus if candidate has experience with Private Credit, BDC’s, etc.
  • CFA or desire to pursue CFA preferred
  • Excellent Excel skills, technically savvy and experienced in analyzing large data files. Bonus if candidate has experience with programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA)
  • Strong academic track record as demonstrated by SAT scores and GPA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Flexible, quick learner with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong team contributor with proactive drive to deliver results
